We created a 4-player Cycling Race with a live score Leader-board for Panadol. This was an outrageously exciting activation in Dubai Mall where hundreds participated every day. The top player of the day was given a prize. We used microcontrollers with sensors on wheels to detect the speed and translate it to a nice graphical interface on a jumbotron LED.

The activation was created for Panadol.

We figured that the best way to achieve this would to combine the 'lift and learn' system with an interactive UI. Generally, a lift and learn digital signage would comprise a simple video or image displayed when a product is lifted. We developed an extra level by loading an interactive application about the product each time the lift took place. Our team did all this using a simple Raspberry Pi microcomputer to ensure the overall solution is cost-effective and compact in size.
