ARKit and HTC Vive Introduce Mixed Reality to iPad

The ARKit platform recently wheeled out by Apple is calling the shots in the technological space. They actually project the future of mixed reality. Both amateurs and experts can have an easier and interesting experience, thanks to the augmented reality developer application with minimal complexities. Recently, we featured some of the best creations developed using the intuitive software in a previous post.

Seemingly though, it appears that the list may not have exhausted all dimensions as required. A video posted on Twitter by an NY-based reality developer clearly underpins this. In the video, one of the custom avatars is viewed drawing a tilt Brush-esque painting right at the center of the office. Interestingly, once the camera turns right, a person inside the HTC Vive is revealed as the real artist.

The unique aspect of the Apple’s ARKit is that it beats the conventional VR studios that display individuals in their virtual environments. In fact, the application transforms digital elements from the virtual domain into reality. Actually, in the covered video, Avatar mimics the actions of the real artist in reality and in real-time. The painting also confirms the capacity of the application to bring digital elements from Virtual Reality to the reality. Also, several viewing options are functional, paving way for the capacity to reposition or scale visuals.

It hasn’t still been confirmed when the prototype experience will play out in the public gallery basing on the short video, though its already uncovered that it will provide a whole new perspective with regard to how to view VR content outside a headset. We’ll keep pulses with the exciting concept as it develops. Normal VR has given rise to other Virtual Reality Applications like the open-source drum Keyboard as well as the Deluxe Chaperone 3000 VR border system.
