Gesture + Augmented Reality Experience for P&G’s Ariel Campaign

An experience of this type was created probably the first time in this region. We combined Augmented Reality with Gesture recognition to give birth to a distinctive BTL activation idea.

An experience of this type was created probably the first time in this region. We combined Augmented Reality with Gesture recognition to give birth to a distinctive BTL activation idea. FLC Marketing, one of the best marketing agencies in Dubai, approached us to create something for a new product launched by Ariel detergents (P&G).  The new detergent, releases a fragrance from your clothes when rubbed after washing. This had to be conveyed to the consumers in an innovative manner.

That’s what we did, created this interactive experience, where the customer comes in front of the screen and he sees a mirror image (camera view). Once they rub their clothes, flowers are shown coming out of their clothes. This was done using a Microsoft Kinect 2 sensor.
