Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) required a landmark activation for their 2023 Air Show booth to debut an award-winning production by Ti22 Films. We engineered a custom mechatronics-driven sliding screen that physically moved across a vibrant LED skyline of Dubai. This seamless blend of hardware and software transformed a standard video screening into a tactile, immersive journey through the city’s aviation history.
Visitors took full control of the narrative using an intuitive tablet interface. Selecting a specific chapter triggered the motorized screen to glide precisely to its corresponding section on the background wall. This synchronized movement captivated crowds and ensured the award-winning content received the spotlight it deserved.
The installation set a new benchmark for “Immersive Story Spaces” by combining mechanical precision with digital depth. It successfully boosted dwell time and visitor engagement far beyond industry averages for trade show exhibits. DCAA achieved total brand recall, proving that interactive surfaces are the gold standard for high-stakes international events.
