Boosting Cinema Engagement Through High-Energy Dexterity Gaming
Deira City Centre needed a high-impact way to promote Vox Cinemas and reward shoppers. We developed Reel Rush, a gesture-controlled experience that turned a standard promotion into a physical challenge. Players used hand movements to clear virtual popcorn and grab falling tickets in real-time.
This installation dominated the “Reaction & Dexterity” sub-category by merging physical movement with instant gratification. The intuitive mechanics ensured zero friction for participants of all ages. By removing the need for touchscreens or controllers, we maintained a hygienic and fluid flow for high-traffic environments.
The project surpassed industry benchmarks for dwell time and brand recall. Participants left with a memorable win, while the brand captured valuable foot traffic data. Our team delivered a seamless blend of motion-tracking technology and playful UX that drove measurable cinema ticket conversions.
