Blending Conductive Ink and Custom Design to Captivate Young Readers
The Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival 2022 required a fresh way to bridge the gap between visual literacy and auditory recognition. We delivered a massive MDF touch wall that transformed static animal clipart into a live, sonic library. By applying conductive paint technology beneath high-quality vinyl surfaces, we turned a simple partition into a sensory learning hub.
Children engaged directly with the installation by touching various creatures to trigger their unique sounds. This “touch-to-hear” mechanic gamified the learning process, encouraging kids to guess and identify animals through play. The seamless integration of tech and tactile surfaces ensured a high-traffic, durable solution for the event’s busiest zones.
This activation set a new benchmark for Interactive Surfaces, achieving 100% uptime and maximum visitor dwell time. Marketing agencies often struggle to find durable tech for high-volume youth events, but this project proved that immersive story spaces can be both robust and magical. We successfully blended educational goals with cutting-edge hardware to leave a lasting impression on SCRF attendees.
