Interactive AR Masks Transform Brand Engagement

PearlQuest built dynamic AR face filters for the 2019 Snickers Peanut Butter campaign. We designed these interactive campaign web tools to capture hilarious “hangry” transformations. Users instantly connected with the brand through these custom, localized masks.

Participants selected their current mood, like drained or dramatic. The AR application then visually offered a virtual Snickers bar. Following this, the filters smoothly transitioned to happy, satisfied faces. Users could easily print or email their split-screen results.

This interactive activation significantly boosted dwell times at promotional stands. We exceeded industry benchmarks for user-generated content creation and direct brand interaction.
